What happens to the floor when wine soaks through a rug?

Same rug, same glass of wine, two pads. Most rug pads let the spill pass right through, and it ends up trapped against the floor. The Pet Barrier pad holds it, so the floor stays dry.

Why rug cleaners switch to Rug Pad Wizard

Our felt pads carry a pet urine barrier, a Green Label Plus certification from the Carpet and Rug Institute, and a Life of the Rug warranty. Here is how that compares with an ordinary rug pad.

BenefitRug Pad Wizard padOther rug pads
Pet Barrier backingThe Pet Barrier keeps most spills and pet urine from soaking through to the floor, which can save the homeowner thousands in refinishing. With other pads, liquids penetrate immediately to the floor and feed bacteria and mold.
Life of the Rug warrantyEco pads are warrantied for the life of the rug, which means protection for 20 years or more.Latex, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and clay-bound backings can deteriorate quickly and stain, mar or discolor hardwood and tile.
WashableThe pad never breaks down from cleaning, whether at home or by a professional rug cleaner. Many rug pads start degrading the first time they are washed.
Made in the USAThis product is 100 percent made in the USA.Other pads may be made overseas without chemical and safety testing.
Lowest cost per yearA 5 by 8 Pet Barrier pad at $99.97 lasts 20 years: $4.99 per year.A $68.99 pad that lasts 4 years costs $17.25 per year.

What rug cleaners say

The program is what sells

Our “Rug Pad for Life” program has put us over the top! Since we have been selling our rug pad program which offers 4 choices of padding including our entry level with a lifetime warranty, eco premium with a lifetime warranty, eco supreme with a lifetime warranty and evergrip with a lifetime warranty, rug pad sales have grown to 18.2% of my business and still growing rapidly! What is even better is the mark up! I am netting 79%! The key for us has been to offer the customer choices and different price points to help meet their needs, not to mention they all have a lifetime warranty! I could not be happier with the results and the quality of the product we are receiving.

Pet urine moisture barrier

We have a client that we clean her rugs often due to recurring animal urine. We placed an Eco-Premium pad under the two rugs we most often clean. On our last visit the two rugs were urine saturated but nothing went through the pad, which was not the case with the previous padding. And the Eco-Premium is cleanable!! Great product!!

Pleasantly surprised

We ordered a variety package of 4 rolls of rug pad from Rug Pad Wizard. The prices and shipping were reasonable and they arrived on time. They also shipped us a sales binder with samples and a board to put in our lobby with samples on it. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality and variety of rug pad. Our customers are receiving the new products very well, and sales are already up after just a few weeks!
